(MRA) is currently seeking a Project to Senior Project Engineer for the Land group in our Towson, Maryland Office.
This is an experienced position involved primarily with the technical aspects of land development which may include project management tasks including leading design teams and client communication initiatives.
The Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer works with minimal supervision in completing routine land design tasks.
Successful candidates will have between 5 and 15 years of experience in land development; which includes but is not limited to site engineering of roadways, utilities, permitting, erosion/sediment control (ESC) design, and extensive experience in stormwater management (SWM) and water resources.
Maryland SWM and ESC regulatory experience is a plus.
Professional registration is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIESHands-on design and management of land development projects from initial project planning through preparation of construction documents and permitting in the areas of site layout, storm drain design, storm water management, sediment and erosion control, and utilities.
Senior Project Engineers will manage staff with coordination and completion of land development plans.
Interact with clients, contractors, and reviewersPerform due diligence and review of ordinances and agency regulations with respect to site permits, approval procedures and schedules of authorities having jurisdiction.
Provide assistance to other team members and management in order to accomplish department goals and objectivesMay perform floodplain and hydraulic/hydrologic water modeling studiesMay perform complex utility and wastewater designs and layoutsAssists with client billings to assure timely completion; resolves client questions on invoices, and makes follow up phone calls regarding overdue bills as necessary.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
