This is an opportunity to get great exposure from our talented and experienced engineering staff in our Towson, MD office.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Coordinate maintenance of traffic and lane closures for construction activities on highways and bridges; document pay items for construction activities on highways and bridges; inspect all construction activities to ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications; create and manage resource loaded schedules for construction activities on highways and bridges; prepare inspector daily reports; supervise field quality assurance testing; prepare cost estimates; design, review, approve and implement final approved highway construction plans; perform contract documentation, contract management and constructability review processes; create and manage resource and cost loaded project schedules using Oracle's Primavera P6 methodology; develop troubleshooting on Computer Aided Design systems for highway and bridge construction activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field plus 1 year related experience.
Will accept any level of experience in the following skills:
design, review, approve and implement final approved highway construction plans; perform contract documentation, contract management and constructability review processes; create and manage resource and cost loaded project schedules using Oracle's Primavera P6 methodology; develop troubleshooting on Computer Aided Design systems for highway and bridge construction activities.
30% domestic travel required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
