Summary:
The primary focus of the Sales Team Lead position is on generating and driving sales and business development leads within an assigned territory or division. The position typically involves learning extensive product knowledge, outstanding client relationship building skills, and competitive positioning within the marketplace.
Responsibilities:
Meet or exceed weekly and monthly quotas for sales leads and future business prospects
Plans strategy to establish and maintain account relationships and meet personal sales targets. Develops business plans for each account.
Build and manage relationships with potential customers and clients
Work strategically with the sales team in a business development and lead generation capacity
Supports supervisor and other sales professionals in developing new market opportunities in the designated territory or market.
Solicits new business opportunities within territory
Work with management to oversee a campaign and team of associates
Requirements:
Degree or related experience in business, sales or marketing environments.
Strong customer service skills for generating sales and leads externally
Must be able to work independently to achieve sales goals.
Comfortable in speaking in large groups / strong presentation skills
Demonstrated team management and leadership ability is a plus
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
