Position:
The College of Liberal Arts invites applications for a tenure-track, 10-month Assistant or Associate Professor position in Counseling Psychology in the Psychology Department beginning August 2015.

Qualifications:
Ph.D. in counseling psychology from an APA approved program and license-eligible in the State of Maryland.

Responsibilities:
Teach graduate courses in the counseling psychology program such as group counseling, research methods, advanced counseling techniques, and practicum and internship with potential to teach undergraduate courses in the clinical area, such as abnormal psychology and systems of psychotherapy. Faculty are assigned a reduced instructional workload of six (6) course units per academic year for the first year. Beginning the second year the workload will revert back to the standard instructional workload of seven to eight (7-8) course units for subsequent years. Graduate courses are taught in the late afternoon and evening. Develop specialty courses in their area of expertise. Areas of research interests are open. The position will also require an active service commitment to the administration of the Counseling program, with the potential for a leadership role.
Department Information:
The Psychology Department has 1,200 undergraduate psychology majors and 300 graduate students in five master's degree programs, including experimental psychology, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, school psychology and human resource development.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
