Position:
The College of Liberal Arts invites applications for a tenure-track, 10-month Assistant Professor position in the Psychology Department beginning August 2015.

Qualifications:
Ph.D. in area related to behavioral neurophysiology/psychophysiology.

Responsibilities:
Teach both undergraduate and graduate level courses such as physiological psychology, sensation and perception, research methods, statistics, and introductory psychology. Faculty are assigned a reduced instructional workload of six (6) course units per academic year for the first year. Beginning the second year the workload will revert back to the standard instructional workload of seven to eight (7-8) course units for subsequent years. Strong commitment to excellence in teaching, be able to direct master's theses, and show evidence of a productive and continuing research program in an area of behavioral neuroscience/psychophysiology. Area of research interest is open, but a focus on human research (e.g., behavioral, social, cognitive or developmental) desirable.
Department Information:
The Psychology Department has 1,200 undergraduate psychology majors and 300 graduate students in five master's degree programs, including experimental psychology, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, school psychology and human resource development.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
