The Towson University's Department of Special Education is currently accepting applications for a part-time Administrative Assistant I to provide administrative support to the special Education Department including the Department Chairperson, faculty, staff and students.
Responsibilities
Answer phones; data collection; signature assessments; greet students; photocopy, run errands and filing; maintain Graduate Programs Databases; prepare documents; and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent and two years of experience providing administrative support. The selected candidate must be able to work independently, detailed oriented, and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience. A Criminal Background Investigation is required for the hired candidate and the results may impact employment.
Salary
$14.58/hour. The position is contingent on funds being available at time of hire.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
