I'm hiring for a Human Resources Generalist in Towson, MD (near Baltimore & Washington, D.C.) for a leading regional construction company. This is a full-time position with great benefits that can start immediately. Salary range is $60,000 - $80,000. Construction or manufacturing experience is a plus. Must have experience with HRIS (i.e. PeopleSoft, Viewpoint). The Human Resources Generalist will report to the Director of Human Resources.

Key
Responsibilities:
Conduct analysis of compensation and benefits
Communicate and administer all Health & Welfare, and Retirement programs
Participates in developing department goals and objectives
Assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
Prepares and maintains employee handbook, and policies & procedures manual
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations in a human resources capacity
Maintains company organization charts and employee directory
Full cycle recruitment for all personnel including onboarding, and training & development
Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
Two (2) years of experience in the HR field
Human Resources certification preferred
Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point
Requires technical knowledge of the principals of employee relations, policies & procedures, labor laws, wage & salary programs, recruiting and benefits administration

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
