Your upbeat attitude and ability to engage customers keeps the sales floor energized and Sales Associates motivated. Under the direction of the Sales Manager, you lead your team to meet daily sales goals--and exceed customer expectations. With a constant eye on the sales floor, you adjust staffing as needed to be sure every customer gets personal attention. You re a mentor. You provide productive feedback and thoughtful guidance to Sales Associates, grooming them for advancement on the sales team.
Maximize company sales growth and profitability by supporting the sales managers and sales team, in order to deliver an engaged experience to every customer, every time.
Partner with the sales manager to maintain store sales and service goals and standards.
Assist the sales manager in maximizing sales floor coverage being sensitive to productivity in all areas of the store.
Maintain an awareness of all available resources for training and development.
Coach sales associates on compliance and adherence to consistent company processes.
Coach sales associates on exceptional sales performance.
Provide specific feedback about performance directly to associates and share observations with the sales manager.
Maintain a strong, visible and positive presence on the sales floor.
Assist the sales manager to train and develop sales associates in all operations, sales skills, customer service skills and product knowledge.
Demonstrate company standards in selling, customer service, visual merchandising and teamwork.
In coordination with the merchandising manager and merchandising team lead, ensure product on the sales floor is stocked appropriately and available for customers to purchase.
Maintain an awareness of the sales floor and direct the sales team to maintain all store displays and uprights/shelves in between customer interactions.
Promote the brand by engaging the customer and staff in creative activities and demonstrations and sharing product expertise.
In coordination with the sales managers and merchandising team lead, manage the closing efforts of the store.
Ensure the store Point of Sale (POS) system and related equipment is in working order.
Maintain, enforce and supervise store safety standards and training.
Maintain an awareness of all product information and status, intranet communications, and current advertising and marketing initiatives and communicate all pertinent information to store associates.
Actively engage customers, remain attentive to customer needs and coordinate with the sales managers to proactively solve difficult or complicated customer issues.
Support and model excellent service by exhibiting a positive attitude and enthusiasm toward the job and company to both internal and external customers in all forms of communication.
Communicate regularly with the sales managers concerning all aspects of sales, training opportunities, customer reaction, traffic on the sales floor and sales associates performance.
Communicate store and company sales goals and work effectively with all sales associates in order to meet these goals.
Communicate effectively and efficiently with all company associates in both written and verbal form.
Actively participate in store meetings and training sessions.
Conduct and facilitate daily morning huddles, weekend meeting and end-of-day sales recap discussions with sales associates.
Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates.
Demonstrate creative problem solving to maintain a solutions-oriented focus.
Participate in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems.
Required Skills
Previous customer service/retail/management experience preferred
High school diploma/GED or equivalent
Good reading and written language skills (English)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Presentation skills
Basic math skills
Ability to move and/ or lift up to 50 pounds; heavier merchandise with team assist
Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
