Path Technologies, Inc. is looking for a Controls Engineer for a full time, direct hire position with our Towson based client. Our client provides pharmacy services and technologies to skilled nursing homes, assisted living facilities and continuing care retirement communities.
The ideal candidate must be dependable with ability to be flexible, function independently and work under pressure with multiple tasks and deadlines. Must have strong organizational, time management skills, ability to problem solve.
General
Summary:
Develops and supports code required to automate electromechanical processes.
Supports existing and future Paxit systems and continues application development. This includes migration to new technologies, new feature development, issue resolution of current systems and Workstation/Server support.
Provides on and off-site support for customers and is on-call 24/7.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include development tasks and customer support:
1. Assist with development of PLC code for electromechanical processes.
2. Able to read and understand electronic schematics and identify faulty components.
3. Assist with equipment acceptance testing.
4. Create automated tests (Unit Tests, Load Tests, etc.) and other software/machine simulation testing tools.
5. Coordinate software releases and collaborate with QA analysts to implement validation plans.
6. Assist with software documentation, compilation of standards and development cheat sheets.
7. Provide IT infrastructure support.
8. Workwith customer to streamline processes and gather requirements.

Specifications
Education/Certifications: Associate's / Bachelor's degree in a technology related field or Microsoft Developer certifications
Experience: Minimum of two years experience with RSLogix 5000, RSLinx, and RSNetworx (DeviceNet). Experience with Cognex In-Sight Explorer and RSLogix 500 preferred
Communication: Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written with English as the primary language.Must have strong problem solving abilities and a strong customer service focus.
Travel: up to 50%Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
