Responsible for performing recruiting functions to ensure that well qualified candidates are available for position openings. Implement recruitment programs designed to engage, hire and retain qualified exempt and non-exempt talent in assigned region.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Make use of various sourcing channels to include, resume mining, diversity resources, networking and direct sourcing to build and maintain quality candidate pipeline
Represent the organization at off-site recruiting programs including job fairs,
community
events
and networking events
Work with HR Regional Manager and/or Senior Recruiter to conduct analysis of labor market population and applicant pool to formulate and execute recruiting action plans
Coach hiring managers in recruitment and selection processes while ensuring compliance with employment laws
Facilitate the candidate experience throughout the selection process, offer negotiation, and new hire on-boarding
Continuously develop business knowledge of company and departmental objectives, industry and key corporate challenges, and current market dynamics
Screen resumes and applications, conduct interviews and closing pre-qualified candidates. Refer eligible candidates to the hiring manager
Work closely with appropriate levels of managers to accomplish hiring goals & provide standard management reporting (i.e. number of hires, open positions).
Conduct reference and background checks, and skills assessment tests
Negotiate offer packages and draft offer letters for selected candidates
May assist in writing and placing of advertisements and coordinates placement of open positions
Partner with Recruiting Coordinators to ensure best practices, process improvements and consistency in business
Assist employees seeking transfer opportunities
Accurately track and report recruitment activity data to support staffing metrics
Execute cost effective recruitment methods, both internally and externally, to consistently source, maintain and provide a diverse pool of qualified prospects
Coach managers on appropriate interview techniques and legally sound interviewing methods and create and implements, in conjunction with hiring managers, appropriate screening and interviewing techniques and questions

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
