BMW of Towson Position OverviewThe We'll Buy Your Car Call Center Team Lead reports to WBYC Manager and is responsible for overseeing the WBYC process, providing support, establishing relations with customers, and motivating a team of WBYC AssociatesThe team's role is to acquire additional inventory for multiple AutoNation dealership locations by receiving inbound leads and scheduling appointmentsWho Would I Interact With?The position interacts daily in-person the WBYC Manager, WBYC Associates, WBYC Drop off Associates, Reconditioning Manager, support staff and customers.
What are the day-to-day responsibilities?Working directly with the WBYC ManagerLeading yourself and the team in a way that supports AutoNation's Vision and MissionSetting a clear vision and goals for the team to achieve targeted performance in vehicle purchases and profitEngaging and motivating the team to achieve key goals, performance expectations and AutoNation best practice processesDriving the business through a high-level of involvement in the day-to-day WBYC operationsEnsuring that e-leads are handled timely, answering questions, providing information, and ideally setting an appointment for a visit to a storeManage the follow-up with e-leads to assist them as needed through their research phase until ready acquisitionEnsure Customers are transitioned effectively from leads to the drop off locationManaging the negotiation process with BDC Associates ensuring that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricingAnalyzing the business to determine shortfalls and developing action plans to improve performanceWhat are the requirements for this job?High school diploma or equivalentPrevious management preferred but not requiredPrevious automotive industry experience preferred but not requiredAbility to provide an exceptional customer experienceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDetail orientedExperience and desire to work with technologyValid in-state driver's license and an acceptable, safe driving record Company OverviewAutoNation, a provider of personalized transportation services, is driven by innovation and transformationAs one of America's most admired companies, AutoNation delivers a peerless Customer experience recognized by data-driven consumer insight leaders, Reputation and J.
