PATIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE - Part Time Gastroenterology Department Description At Clinical Associates, we make being healthy easier.
We connect our patients to a seamless system of integrated medical care, which includes in-house specialists in 10 areas of practice, from cardiology to podiatry.
We also offer unique services like our ambulatory surgery center and nuclear stress testing facility.
Our more than 50 physicians, specialists and credentialed health care providers are assisted by 175 trained support staff.
We are seeking an experienced Patient Service Representative to join our growing Gastroenterology & Ambulatory Surgery Center team! You will work Part Time at our Towson location providing front desk registration and check in / check out services to our patients.
You must convey a positive and professional image with the ability to multitask.
Shift:
7:
30am - 12:
00pm every 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month.
Pay Rate:
$17.
00 - $18.
00 per hour WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Greet patients and visitors in a professional, pleasant manner.
Complete all aspects of the check in and check out process accurately and efficiently.
Collect patient balances, co-pays, deductibles, and self-pay fees according to established procedures.
Responsible for having patients sign all compliance-related forms (Patient Data Sheets/Privacy Notice/ABN Form, etc.
) and scans into EHR.
Schedule appointments.
Maintain waiting room, office and common areas to ensure a clean and aesthetically pleasing environment.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or G.
E.
D.
Medical office or healthcare setting experience is required.
Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with visitors, physicians, patients and other personnel.
Proficient in using computer systems and EMR software - NextGen experience is a plus.
